Vast Yonder was commissioned by Mirvac to deliver a mural program at Toombul Shopping Centre in Brisbane's inner north. The program activated the retail precinct with large-scale mural works, creating a distinctive visual identity and enhancing the customer experience through cultural placemaking.
The project demonstrated how public art can transform commercial environments, bringing colour and creativity to everyday spaces and drawing new audiences to the precinct.
Scope & delivery.
Vast Yonder managed the full delivery from artist curation and concept development through to installation and documentation. Works were designed to complement the architectural character of the centre while creating bold, eye-catching artworks visible from the surrounding streetscape.
The program was delivered in coordination with centre management and retail operations, ensuring minimal disruption to trading during the installation period.
