Vast Yonder partnered with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to deliver a mural program across QUT's Brisbane campuses. The program transformed university infrastructure into vibrant public art, enriching the campus experience for students, staff and the broader community.
QUT has been a long-standing partner of Brisbane Street Art Festival and a supporter of public art as a tool for placemaking and community engagement. This dedicated mural program extended that relationship into a targeted campus activation.
Scope & delivery.
Vast Yonder managed artist curation, concept development, approvals and installation in close collaboration with QUT's facilities and engagement teams. Works were designed to complement the university's architectural environment while creating distinctive landmarks within the campus precinct.
The program provided commissioning opportunities for both established and emerging artists, contributing to the professional development pipeline that Vast Yonder supports across all its public art programs.
