Brisbane City Council has been one of Vast Yonder's most significant and enduring partners. Across multiple commissions and programs, Vast Yonder has delivered large-scale mural works throughout Greater Brisbane — transforming laneways, retaining walls, underpasses and civic infrastructure into permanent public artworks.
This partnership has been instrumental in establishing Brisbane's identity as a leading street art city, with Council-commissioned works forming a significant portion of the 400+ artworks delivered across the BSAF program and beyond.
Scope & delivery.
Projects range from individual wall commissions to precinct-wide mural programs spanning multiple suburbs. Vast Yonder manages artist curation, community consultation, design approvals, surface preparation, installation and documentation.
Works have been delivered across Fortitude Valley, West End, South Brisbane, New Farm, Woolloongabba, Spring Hill and surrounding suburbs, contributing to the liveability and cultural identity of Brisbane's most vibrant urban neighbourhoods.
