Brisbane Street Art Festival

Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) is Australia’s largest street art festival by documented murals. It was founded in 2016 by Lincoln Savage and David Don and is produced by Vast Yonder. Over ten editions from 2016 to 2025 it produced 320 documented murals across 34 suburbs of Brisbane and Ipswich, and the murals were always free to see. Each edition paired a live mural program with exhibitions, workshops and major partnerships, from the BMW Art Cars to Visualising AI with the QLD AI Hub and the University of Queensland. Partners included Brisbane City Council, QUT, Brisbane Airport and Arts Queensland. In 2021, an evaluation by IER for Tourism and Events Queensland reported 1,094,004 public mural viewings across the 16 days of the festival. BSAF is on hold. There is no date for the next edition.
