MARITIME GREEN PARK PUBLIC ART PROGRAM

During the Brisbane Street Art Festival, an innovative project transformed Maritime Green Park (Northshore Brisbane) into a vibrant open-air gallery, showcasing the exceptional talents of artists Hafleg, Kitt Bennett, and Tori-Jay Mordey. This initiative exemplified the power of public art to revitalize and reimagine urban spaces.

Armed with brushes and spray cans, these visionary artists infused the park with a dynamic blend of color and creativity, producing works that engaged and inspired the community. Their unique artistic expressions not only beautified the environment but also challenged traditional perceptions of urban landscapes.

The collaboration between the artists, the festival and Northshore Brisbane highlighted the significant role of street art in contemporary urban design. It demonstrated how public art can create a sense of place, foster community connections, and contribute to the cultural and aesthetic enrichment of the city.
